Intake season in France

France has two major intakes, one in September and one in January.
 
September  Intake: It is the main intake in which most universities offer admissions to all the programmes available. The deadlines for the September intake fall in mid-July. Applicants should apply from May through June and appear for interviews in July.
 
January  Intake: It is the secondary intake, also known as the Spring Intake. January intake is a less popular intake season but it is equally important.
